I have been using sugar and salt scrubs for a number of years now. I have been buying my scrubs from Trader Joe's, Bath and Body Works and Kiel's for the most part. When I heard that my friend Gillian was starting her own line of scrubs I said to myself how much better could they be than any of the above that I have already been using. Well I was pleasantly surprised.
First of all, the aromatherapy oils she uses are indeed very clean, pure and fragrant. As a licensed physical therapist and certified massage therapist I have much experience with using these oils in my practice and I could tell right away that she was using very good pure oils. Secondly, the ratio of sugar to oil was just perfect. At first glance I thought that it would be too dry of a product (for I have dry skin and enjoy more oily products because my skin just sucks it up) but I could see that as I massaged it on in the shower that a nice thin gleam of oil appeared on my fresh newly exfoliated skin, yet at the same time when I stepped out of the shower I did not feel too oily.
Needless to say, I highly recommend her sugar scrub and my 6 year old daughter loves them too! Thanks Gillian for developing this great formula and for all the love and care you put into this product.
